Profile of board member Marie Rumsey

CBH is pleased to welcome Marie Rumsey to our board of directors. As the Managing Director of Legislative Affairs and Government Relations at the Central City Association (CCA), Marie says she feels good about the work she has done on homelessness policy. "I am proud that CCA is supporting the homelessness reduction bond that the City of LA is placing before voters in November," Marie says.

Marie says she joined CBH's board because "I love CBH's mission to help the most vulnerable people find homes. We are in the midst of a serious homeless crisis, and we really need organizations like Clifford Beers Housing to tackle it."

Marie previously worked on planning, economic development and housing for the City of Los Angeles. She holds a Master of Arts from Mount St. Mary’s College.
